Deep Sea Fishing
Deep sea fishing trips last 3 hours. The fishing rod, bait and plenty of friendly advice are provided.
Join us on a deep sea fishing trip to one of our local shipwrecks or reefs. Ideal for beginners and young people our trip is intended to be a great introduction to sea fishing for all the family.
Experienced anglers will also enjoy this one. We’ll be with you all the way with plenty of encouragement.
Nick is now able to offer you, thanks to an exciting new partnership with an experienced and popular local skipper, this deep sea fishing trip everyday, 9am to 12 noon or by private charter at a time to suit you. Groups up to 11 and individuals welcome.
The chances of catching something are good; we expect to see a variety of fish. Depending on location we might catch pollock, bream, bass, rays, dogfish, pout whiting, congers, wrasse, john dory, mackerel etc.
Call Nick – 0797 479 6002. Please book in advance and turn up on time.
Fabulous Fishing for Everyone
If you haven’t got time for a longer boat trip why not try our one hour Lyme Regis mackerel fishing trips.
Alternatively we offer boat trips which do not include fishing by private charter.
The Boat Trip and Safety
Nick operates his boat from March to November. The boat is licensed by Dorset Council, certified by MECAL and the MCA. We carry a full complement of safety equipment life jackets and a life raft. The boat is subject to an annual survey – your safety is as important to us as it is to you. Nick has over 30 years of experience of working at sea from Lyme Regis.
What to Wear Aboard the Boat
Nick advises that people should always dress according to the weather conditions and think country walk, not garden party. Generally speaking outdoor shoes that you don’t mind getting wet are perfect for boat trips.
Eight of us went out for almost 3 hours and what fun we had. The skipper Nick was excellent, very informative and great fun. Our rods were all ready and we caught plenty of fish. We all had a great experience. We would definitely recommend Kraken to anyone who fancies a great deep sea fishing trip.
