A. No we welcome you to come and join us as a casual customer straight off the harbour wall but many people like to plan their trips these days, we would recommend you to call and book first if you know when you would like to go Mackerel Fishing or Deep Sea Fishing in Lyme Regis. Private Charters are best booked at least 24 hours in advance but feel free to call any time to discuss your plans.
Q. When I have booked do I need to be on time?
A. Yes we will be booking other trips around yours so we rely on you to allow plenty of time to get to us.

A. Kraken can carry 11 passengers and Antelma can carry 8 passengers, we may vary this according to weather conditions.
Q. Do you arrange boat trips in Lyme Regis for schools and clubs?
A. Yes we can arrange Boat trips, Sightseeing, Mackerel Fishing or Deep Sea Fishing trips for large groups, we have regular bookings from schools, residential homes, foster carers, colleges, scouts etc. We may ask you to ensure there is an appropriate level of supervision in circumstances where legislation or policy dictates.
Q. Do I need to bring my own fishing line on the boat trip?
A. We provide lines for Mackerel Fishing and rods, tackle and bait for Deep Sea Fishing.
Q. What time do Mackerel Fishing Trips leave?
A. Every hour on the hour between 0900 and 1700hrs during holiday periods when time, tide and weather allows.
Q. What time do Deep Sea Fishing Trips leave?
A. 0900hrs Monday, Wednesday and Friday during July and August. Once you’ve booked please be on time.
Q. How much do boat trips cost?
A. We set prices every year so when you call Nick he will tell you the current rate for the trip you have selected. Mackerel Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing and private charters are all priced differently but this is a competitive market and we aim to be competitive.
Q. Can I hire the boat with a skipper to take my family out on a special trip?
A. Yes, that’s our speciality, tailoring a fishing trip for you is what we like to do. And our rates are very reasonable.
Q. Can I join a boat trip today?
A. Yes during holiday periods April – November and in July & August we will be available every day but call to book if you want to avoid disappointment.
Q. Will I be safe on the boat trip?
A. We carry safety equipment as specified in the Maritime Coastguard Agency Code of Practice, this is not optional. The skipper will be qualified and experienced; you must follow the skippers instructions. We have an exemplary safety record and aim to keep it that way. In the unlikely event of a problem arising we have trained to keep you safe.

A. Yes we are an inclusive business; we welcome all people regardless of their origin, religion or identity, age or ability. There are some practical barriers to access due to the design of the harbour please call us to discuss whether these will impact on you, we will do our very best to include you.
Q. Where do I park when I come to Lyme Regis Mackerel Fishing or Deep Sea Fishing?
A. There are car parks near the harbour which fill up very quickly in the high season, make sure you leave plenty of time to find a space, you will need £1 coins, there are very few places to get change when you’ve arrived.
Q. Can I get my catch cooked after my fishing trip in Lyme Regis?
A. Yes we will fillet your fish on request, we have special arrangement with the Fishermans Wife Take Away (which is next to the RNLI building at the entrance to the Cobb) who will cook your catch for a small fee.
